About Us

An award-winning clinic serving Colorado for 14+ years

Active since the summer of 2007, our two divisions (Restore Health and Restore Beauty) have served the health and aesthetic needs of NoCo for over a decade. Now united under one brand, we look forward to helping you realize your full potential.

Our Vision

We, as doctors, are here to help those under our care address root causes of their health concerns in order to restore and optimize their health.

Our Mission

We believe that people who enjoy optimal health are better able to enjoy wholesome relationships. They are better parents, spouses, employees and even citizens. Therefore, by helping to restore optimal health we are helping improve the world around us.

Our Process

After gathering data (by spending more time and obtaining more comprehensive labs) we come up with an individualized plan to systematically restore and optimize health. We then continue to re-measure and adjust our plan over time.

Our Providers

Owner & Medical Director

Dr. James Howton

Dr. Howton appreciates and embraces the strengths and positive aspects of conventional medicine. Furthermore, he encourages his patients to maintain their relationship with their traditional physician and to use them for acute care or other services not offered at Restore.

Dr. Howton designed Restore Health Center to focus on issues currently not well addressed by a traditional medical model and to be able to emphasize health optimization rather than disease care. His diverse background in conventional medicine combined with his passion for and expertise in Functional Medicine make him uniquely qualified to help those not finding good answers in traditional medicine.

Beyond addressing dysfunction, Restore Health center offers their clients that are already enjoying good health cutting-edge modalities to continue improving and optimizing their health.

Julie’s personal health journey began with a challenging diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2003. As a single mother in her early thirties, she struggled with her health for over a decade under traditional Western medical treatments. It wasn’t until she discovered Functional Medicine that she identified the root causes of her autoimmune condition. Through lifestyle modifications and Functional Medicine principles, Julie was able to completely reverse her symptoms and stop all her medications, reclaiming a vibrant and full life.

With her health restored, Julie dedicated herself to helping others achieve similar transformations. She became a certified coach in 2017 and founded Julie Michelson Coaching to guide clients towards beneficial lifestyle changes. Her collaboration with Dr. Howton and subsequent certifications, including a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach in 2019 and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach in 2020, have equipped her with extensive knowledge and tools to support her clients effectively. Committed to ongoing education, Julie became a RECODE 2.0 Certified coach in 2022, focusing on cognitive decline challenges. She also created Inspired Living with Autoimmunity® and RA the Right Way®, programs designed to help others restore their health and vitality.

Julie was named the 2023 Wellness Coach of the Year by Best Holistic Life Magazine. She is also an international speaker, best-selling author, and host of the Inspired Living with Autoimmunity® Podcast.

Delia

I am fun-loving and my favorite place to be is out in nature. I am a mom of two boys who enjoys hiking, biking, running, paddle boarding, skate boarding, snowboarding, and gardening.

I also love traveling and experiencing new places when I can!

The eight years I have worked for Restore have created a desire to grow in my health – body, mind, and spirit. The changes I have experienced in my life have ignited my passion to help people meet their own goals for overall body and skin health. Work never feels like “work” due to the people I work alongside and the clients I get to serve.

Esthetician

Aliesia

Hi there! I am so thankful to be living in this beautiful state with my husband and our two hunting dogs.

In my free time if I’m not at my house working on a DIY project, I am spending time with friends and family, or at the barn working with horses. I am grateful to be a part of the team at Restore and in this industry because it means constantly learning new things, building relationships with my clients, and helping them best care for the person they were created to be AND the largest organ of their body –
their skin.

Our Frontdesk Staff

Shandra

Hi! I’m Shandra, and I’ve been with Restore Health since April 2020. Working here has been awesome because I’ve learned a lot and made some great friends.

When I’m not at work, I love hanging out with my family and playing with my dogs. Spring is my favorite time of year because everything starts to bloom and it feels like a fresh start. I’m from a really small town where my whole graduating class was just 19 people, so I really value close friendships.

One thing I can’t resist? Cold Stone Ice Cream. It’s my little treat. Mixing work, family time, and small joys keeps me happy and thankful every day.

Lindsey

Hi, my name is Lindsey. Since 2015, I’ve been living in Loveland, Colorado with my husband and our four amazing children, having moved from Arizona, after originally being from Chicago, Illinois.

I joined Restore Health Center in July 2019, and it has become my second home. When I’m not with my family, there’s no place I’d rather be than at Restore Health.

My leisure time is devoted to outdoor activities with my family. Colorado’s endless outdoor opportunities, regardless of the season, are what I love most about living here. From hiking and paddle boarding to fishing and enjoying the snow, the beauty of Colorado never ceases to amaze me.

Reanna

Hi! My name is Reanna, I’ve been working at Restore Health Center since September 2022 and have loved every moment!

Every day is a new learning experience and I appreciation having awesome patients and wonderful coworkers that have become great friends!

I love going outside to hang with all my 40 chickens, 6 ducks, 8 cows, 2 horses, 3 dogs and 1 cat! Life is full of experiences and new people and I wouldn’t trade it for the world 🙂

Talia

I am happy to be a part of our current and new patient health goals and accomplishments, and have a great team to support, listen, and have such positive attitudes. I love being with my family and friends, traveling and any activity that involves heights.

I am a new fur mama. Being the oldest of 7 siblings I strive to be a person they look up to for health, positivity and being true to my self. I live by embracing the funny moments, laughing, stepping out of my comfort zone and making new connections.

I am excited to meet you and be a part of Restore Health Center!
